I am the student of walchand college of engg. sangli.
I feel proud about it.
W.C.E. is one of the Premier Institutes in India, located in southern Maharashtra.It was established in 1947 by Hon.Late Dhondumama Sathe.W.C.E. offers various courses in Bachelor's and Masters of Engineering.It also offers certificate courses in Diploma.Recently this institute has celebrated its Golden Jubily Year in 1997

Just cant explain my feelings!!!
Whenever I think of our college lots of things come into my mind
Our department, Campus, Ganapti Temple, mess,hostel,PL,journals...........
It just reminds me the days when we used to have lot of fun in hostel.
Those days were the best days in my life!!!!!!
I just feel very much proud of being part of WCE.

It's very nice thing for us to have this blog...
Those were really golden days...
WCE reminds me many things like gathering, hostel, orals, our Ganapati temple and a lot of fun we had together...
I just proud of WCE...
WCE Reminds me of good time of my life .......... Those friends, those 4 years battling out semester by semester. That Hostel life which boosted lot of independence in me and confidence to face the world.
It empowered the knowledge by showing the way to proceed in carrier. It gave me my carrier and kick start in IT Industry through IBM.
But still when i remember WCE, it reminds of the pitty the students go through of insufficient exposure to real world. The lack of knowledge given by professor's or may be way of teaching which kept students away from their classes.
So when i read this blog by others I feel, instead of thinking what Walchand gave you, Blog about what you can give to Walchand College of Engineering, Which is your second home.
So Rethink and do the best you can do ..........

Every one are proud of their schools and colleges, so I am not doing anything wrong by feeling so... And why shouldn't I be proud of my college, if it's "Walchand College"... A college with a history of more then 100 year... a college with a huge campus... a college which proved to be the gate for 1000s and 1000s of students to the new world full of challenges... a college which gave them the courage to face those challenges... a college where we spent four glorious years of our life...
While writing this blog I am recalling all my memories... time spent in classroom, in labs, in hostel room, in mess, under the mango tree near the open air theater, on the steps in front of tilak hall, near the globe, ganpati mandir... and "shanbar phuti" road...

days in WCE are the most memorable days in my life...Its not possible to explain my feelings about college in words...In simple words i want to say it gave Direction to my life.
Hostel life of college was the great experience...I still remember D3, ganapati mandir, dept, birth day selibrations, whistles came from D1 & D2, submission nights, PLs, cricket ground,......lab lab lab.......

We were in FE when college was celebrating golden jubilee. Those were days of day dreaming for each of us classmates..Many of us were first time living in hostel. It was feeling of being independent. Still remembering Vishram bug, Nilesh Bakery,
hanuman restaurant, college mess, TV room, Ganpati temple, shambhar phuti road, favorite were chandani chowk( parking area in front of mech. dept), rankala lake ( fountain near mech. PG lab), canteen. Still reminds PL days. We were used to go canteen at night 11 or 12 o'clock & having omelet & tea. really very wonderful days..still remember even after seven years . Hey guys, keep in touch...
